She adjusts her pace to meet the student’s needs and gets to know the student on a personal level.    Ms. Barna tutored my daughter in math while she was in the fourth grade. She made it interesting and fun for my daughter. She provided supplemental worksheets to work on and was very patient while teaching. In addition, Ms. Barna assisted my daughter in reading, understanding and breaking down the problems step by step, making it easy to understand and solve. Overall, my daughter enjoyed working with her and looked forward to the tutoring sessions.

 My daughter has ADHD and she has always been behind in math at school which makes her hate math. Ms. Barna always shows patience towards her students.  She takes time to explain the theory at a rate that is comfortable for the student. Recently, I was very surprised when my daughter told me she likes math tutoring, since she never liked math before. Now she says she loves math and it is FUN!
